Christmas at Compassion Ministries 2025
Compassion Ministries is blessed to have the continuing support of so many local businesses throughout the year, but especially at Christmas their generosity is overwhelming. We would like to take this page to express our gratitude to each of these organizations. Your giving in so many ways helps to make the Christmas holidays a special time of year for our registered clients and others in our city and around the world.
Through their generous donations of new and nearly new items we were able to bless:
- 300 clients and volunteers of Compassion Ministries with Christmas gifts this year
- City Kidz with over 8 large crates of journals, toys, crafts, colouring supplies, puzzles, hair accessories, jewelery, purses, pencil cases, and the list goes on.
- Neighbour-2-Neighbour with 80 grab bags for kids of all ages
- Samaritans Purse Children’s Christmas boxes with small toys, stickers and other needed items for 50 children around the world.
- Hamilton Dream Centre with toys and games
- Living Hope Children’s Ministry with 145 small toys, bubbles etc.
We could not have done this without their generous support. Christmas can be a joyous season of celebration for some but for others it can be very daunting. So, thank you to each one for helping us shine the light of Christ’s love into the lives of others this Christmas.
A special thank you goes to our dedicated team of volunteers who gathered, sorted and converted your donations into gift baskets, as well as those who distributed these gifts to others. We had creative fun with this project and were amazed and blessed through it! May God bless you for being a blessing to others.
